Hi, I’m Mitch, and I’m here because my son captured me and released me to the Townehouse. (If you know me you recognize this as one of my favorite lines.) I was born James C. Mitchell on April 29, 1942, to a mom who was Irish and a dad who was Scottish in Baltimore, MD. My favorite sport growing up was lacrosse. The University of Maryland is my alma mater, where I received an engineering degree.
My career was doing weapon specification and assembly work for the military. When I decided where to live, NYC or California, I chose here. I believe you all would agree. My wife and I had two sons and now I have two granddaughters. In my spare time I enjoyed volunteering at my church.
