August at the Townehouse

We have so many exciting activities planned at the Ventura Townehouse this month!

Peace Love and Music – August 23
We invite you to our concert in the Park on August 23rd. Our theme will be Woodstock re-visited. We have invited Bob Bishop and friends to entertain us with all the golden oldies rock and roll tunes from the 6o’s. So, wear you hippie beads, bell bottom jeans and tie- dye t-shirts with head band optional! Rachel will be serving up her special recipe cocktail, “Sex on the Beach” along with other beverages.

Dinner and a Movie – Under the Tuscan Sun – August 23
This month Chef Bryan and Activity Director Anne collaborated and came up with the idea of “Dinner and a Movie.” Starting this month on August 23rd, Chef Bryan will create and provide a delicious Italian fare.

After dinner, Anne will present a showing of the movie, “Under the Tuscan Sun.” Our featured movie will begin at 7 p.m. in our expansive Vista Room theatre. We plan on continuing with this theme each month on the fourth Wednesday.

Our Happy Residents
  • My grandmother lives at the Ventura Townehouse and I feel confident that she is in good hands. They get her to her appointments and provide any aftercare that she may need. Everyone there is friendly and like family. I feel like I’m at home when I go there to visit her and eat with her in the dining room.

  • Recently, I visited my Mom from Chicago. Each day I offered to take us out and about in Ventura. We found ourselves having such an enjoyable time at the Townehouse we didn’t leave. The dining room was so lovey to enjoy with her friends. Patios welcoming and the activities kept us busy. We laughed and had fun all day! Thank you everyone for making me feel at home and making my visit special. It’s always hard to leave my mom. But not as hard when I know she is so happy! Until my next visit!
