Classical Music Monday in August – Each Monday at 3pm we have a classical musician perform in the Front Lobby.

August 7th: Renée Hamaty, pianist, has performed worldwide as soloist and collaborative pianist. For fifteen years she was Music Director and pianist for “Opera & Broadway Under the Stars” concerts at Arts & Letters Cafe in Santa Barbara and served as vocal faculty pianist for the Music Academy of the West’s 2013 MERIT program. In addition to her active piano collaborating schedule, Renée teaches private piano students of all ages in her Santa Barbara studio.

August 14th: Jesse Davis – Local Classical Guitarist and teacher who specializes in weddings and luxury events will perform a blend of Spanish and South American guitar music. Jesse Davis is well known throughout Ventura County as a talented performer and teacher. Specializing in, but not limited to classical guitar, Jesse’s sensitive acoustic playing provides a beautiful soothing ambiance.

August 21st: Gilberto Gonzales – Gilberto has toured the world with his guitar and has performed with countless top players. He now lives in Ventura with his wife and son. Gilberto will perform his own styling of solo guitar music from Latin America.

August 28th: Tiger Whitten – Aspiring young artist Tiger Whitten specializes in Classical and Flamenco guitar styles. He will present a wide variety of your favorite classics and some contemporary surprises.

Our Happy Residents

My grandmother lives at the Ventura Townehouse and I feel confident that she is in good hands. They get her to her appointments and provide any aftercare that she may need. Everyone there is friendly and like family. I feel like I’m at home when I go there to visit her and eat with her in the dining room.

Recently, I visited my Mom from Chicago. Each day I offered to take us out and about in Ventura. We found ourselves having such an enjoyable time at the Townehouse we didn’t leave. The dining room was so lovey to enjoy with her friends. Patios welcoming and the activities kept us busy. We laughed and had fun all day! Thank you everyone for making me feel at home and making my visit special. It’s always hard to leave my mom. But not as hard when I know she is so happy! Until my next visit!

Staff is very helpful and always concerned about my Mother’s needs, the interior and grounds maintenance is exceptional. Dining provides healthy menus to choose from. Front desk staff is always friendly and helpful. Best decision we ever made was bringing my mom here.
