Ellie has lived at the Townehouse for over 15 years! She celebrates her 100th birthday in July. When I asked Ellie what’s the secret to looking so well? She said daily exercise and good food. Being creative and exploring new things are also Ellie’s secret, to a good life.
Ellie has always had an interest in the Arts. She belonged to the Fine Arts Society of Santa Barbara. When she moved to San Diego, she initiated an International folk-dance group and taught dance at the Greek Orthodox church with her husband for many years.
Ellie and her husband traveled to eastern Europe leading tour groups while studying art and dance. In her spare time Ellie enjoys painting with acrylics. She has shown her paintings during our Townehouse Art exhibits. Ellie remains active her favorite activity is Frank’s exercise class.
