This year marks a milestone for Ventura Townehouse, one of Ventura County’s most established and beloved senior living communities, as it proudly celebrates 60 years of service. Opened in 1965 as the tallest building in Ventura, the Townehouse quickly became known for its innovative approach to senior living. From the beginning, it offered residents a comprehensive, all-inclusive lifestyle model—providing luxury apartments bundled with utilities, three chef-prepared meals per day, housekeeping service, engaging activities, security, and an array of upscale amenities—all set within 12 acres of lush, park-like grounds on California’s Central Coast.
To commemorate this milestone, Ventura Townehouse will host a free 60th Anniversary Concert in the Park on Saturday, September 13 at 5:30 PM. Guests will enjoy live entertainment by The Walt Johnson Sinatra Tribute Band featuring Michael Falcone, along with complimentary dinner and drinks. The celebration will take place on the Townehouse’s beautiful park-like grounds at 4900 Telegraph Road in Ventura, with senior seating available. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs for an evening of music, community, and celebration.
“For six decades, we’ve built a community where seniors don’t just age—they thrive,” said Evan Grannucci, Executive Director of Ventura Townehouse. “This anniversary is a chance to reflect on our legacy, thank the people who’ve been part of our journey, and look ahead to a future filled with joy, care, and community.”
Ventura Townehouse invites members of the public, media, and prospective residents to join in the celebration. For more information or to schedule a tour, call Nancee Borgnine at 805-642-3623.
