Did you know many travel agencies and retailers provide discounts to seniors? These can add up to huge savings depending on who you buy your tickets through and where you’re traveling. If you hold certain kinds of credit cards or bank accounts, you can be eligible for even more savings. There are usually certain terms and conditions to meet, but if you keep an eye on these offers you can get tickets and accommodations and greatly reduced prices.

Airbnb is the modern, more mature alternative to hostels. Hostels are popular among younger travelers for their super low prices and semi-private accomodations. This is a way to really experience the charm of your travel locale in way that is not too touristy, and save money.
