Exciting News: Nancee Borgnine Appointed Director of Social Events!

We are excited to announce the appointment of Nancee Borgnine to the position of Director of Social Events!

Nancee’s early career was a bit different from most. She grew up in the entertainment industry as the daughter of Academy Award-winning actor, Ernest Borgnine. Initially, she followed the family business and became a theatrical agent, film producer, and PR/marketing executive for a gifting suites company that catered to the various awards shows.

Her interest and passion in senior living came quite by accident when she began visiting her friend’s parents living in an assisted living community. They began frequently inviting her for visits since they enjoyed her company, and she made them laugh. Nancee realized not only did she make a difference in their lives but spending time with the residents was most definitely making a difference in her life as well!

Nancee quotes, “Nothing brings me more pleasure than being in a community and hearing the laughter of residents who are truly enjoying themselves and connecting with newfound friends.”

Given Nancee’s background and expertise we are looking forward to many fun activities and parties, assisted by Anne Howorth, Rachel Tucci, and our transportation captain Ed Cardona.

Our Happy Residents

My grandmother lives at the Ventura Townehouse and I feel confident that she is in good hands. They get her to her appointments and provide any aftercare that she may need. Everyone there is friendly and like family. I feel like I’m at home when I go there to visit her and eat with her in the dining room.

Recently, I visited my Mom from Chicago. Each day I offered to take us out and about in Ventura. We found ourselves having such an enjoyable time at the Townehouse we didn’t leave. The dining room was so lovey to enjoy with her friends. Patios welcoming and the activities kept us busy. We laughed and had fun all day! Thank you everyone for making me feel at home and making my visit special. It’s always hard to leave my mom. But not as hard when I know she is so happy! Until my next visit!

Staff is very helpful and always concerned about my Mother’s needs, the interior and grounds maintenance is exceptional. Dining provides healthy menus to choose from. Front desk staff is always friendly and helpful. Best decision we ever made was bringing my mom here.
